Our music ministry helps us to enter more fully into the liturgy with music! If you have a talent in playing an instrument or singing, we encourage you to get involved!

Altar Serving
Any child or adult who has made their First Communion are encouraged to attend an altar server training session and begin to serve at weekend or daily Mass.

Extraordinary Minister of Communion
Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion assist in the distribution of Communion at parish Masses and liturgies as well as bring communion to the sick, homebound and nursing home residents. Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion must attend a diocesan training session prior to assisting at parish Masses. Contact the office for more information about the training sessions.
Greeter
Our greeters stand at the doors and welcome parishioners and guests as they enter for Mass and hand out bulletins before Mass begins. Contact the office if you are interested in participating in this ministry.
Usher
Assist in seating our worshippers, take up the offertory collection, make sure the offertory gifts are brought up to the altar and straighten up at the conclusion of Mass, as well as perform other tasks occasionally, such as cleaning the walkways in the winter. Reader of the Word
Proclaim the Word of God at our daily or weekend Masses. If interested in reading at St. Edward, contact Sarah at [email protected]. If interested in reading at St. Lucy, contact Lou at [email protected]
Sacristan
Oversee details that go into the immediate preparations prior to the liturgies, such as filling the cruets with wine and water, preparing the hosts, changing candles, cleaning and polishing liturgical vessels and ordering liturgical supplies. Church Decorator
